Here are are few tips for you to read before you go out and spend a 100 bucks for your theme. I would really hate to see you regret your purchase.
Where to buy your theme?
I will start off by telling you what no to do, don’t buy themes from spammy looking sites, I only trust reputable theme marketplaces for my themes. These marketplaces will be ThemeForest, Elegant Themes, WooThemes, StudioPress, MOJO Themes, Themfiy, if you are buying from a marketplace that is not listed here, make sure you do your full research because there are lots scam sites out there.
A theme might look all fine and dandy from the description until you actually see a live example, which is why you should always check out the demos and live previews of the themes. If a theme doesn’t have a live demo, I suggest skipping it, its probably not worth it.
Always check all the features that come with the theme, the most important thing is to see how easily the theme can be customized. Will you be able to make changes yourself or are you going to have to hire a programmer? Most themes these days are very user friendly and come with drag and drop page builders, which make it very easy to make changes.
A few more things to look for: What are the ratings for the theme? Does it have positive feedback from customers? Is your theme SEO friendly? Can social media be easily integrated? Is the theme responsive? Does the theme work well on all browsers? Does the theme come with good support and documentation? Lastly, the most important thing I have for you is to make sure you buy a from respected vendor because you will always get your moneys worth.
